How Members with Admin Superpowers Unsubscribe from Chat
Staff and Admin members with superpowers can manage their chat notifications to reduce unnecessary alerts. If you no longer want to receive updates from a specific group chat, you can unsubscribe at any time. This ensures you stay focused on the most relevant conversations while still having access to the chat if needed. 🔔
👣 Step-by-Step Guide
- Open the app.
- Find and open the group chat you want to turn off notifications for.
- Tap the ⓘ info icon in the top right of your screen to open Chat Info.
- Scroll to the bottom.
- Tap Unsubscribe from chat. If the chat is members-only, this button says Leave chat instead.
📝 Note
If you want to subscribe again later, open the group chat and tap Subscribe to Updates. If you left a members-only chat, you'll need to be added back, or join again from Messages → All Group Chats if you have the All Members permission.
