Manually Adding Bank Accounts in Stripe for Parents
🏦This guide walks you through the process of manually linking a parent’s bank account as a payment method in Stripe. This is useful when parents prefer direct bank payments instead of using credit cards or self-service portals.
👣 Step-by-Step Guide
1. From your Onespot app, tap the lightning bolt ⚡ icon.
2. Go to “All Members”
Access the All Members section to view individual member profiles.
3. Select the Parent’s Account
Click on the specific parent whose payment method you want to add.
4. Click “View in Stripe”
This redirects you to their customer dashboard in Stripe.
5. Locate the “Payment Methods” Section
On the Stripe customer dashboard, scroll to find the Payment Method area.
6. Click “Add Payment Method”
Select Add a U.S. Bank Account (or appropriate option based on your region).
7. Enter Bank Account Information
Manually input the Routing Number and Account Number provided by the parent.
