How to Add a Payment Method in the Onespot App
To quickly pay invoices or fees through your Onespot app, you'll first need to add a payment method. This can be done in just a few taps — and once it's saved, you can reuse it anytime you need to make a payment.
Step-by-Step: Add a Payment Method
🔹 Step 1: Open Your Payment Profile
- Open your school's mobile app.
- Tap the dollar bill icon in the top right-hand corner of your screen.
🔹 Step 2: Select “Add Payment Method”
- You’ll be taken to your Payment Profile page.
- Tap “Add Payment Method.”
🔹 Step 3: Choose a Payment Type and Link It
In many cases, you can choose either:
✅ A Bank Account (Recommended – lower transaction fees)
✅ A Credit or Debit Card
To Link a Card:
- Input your card number, expiration date, and CVC code, or link your bank info.
- Once done, tap “Add.”
To Link a Bank Account:
First, search for and select your bank.
Second, follow the steps to log into and authorize your bank.
Third, select the account you want to link, press "Connect account", press "Back to Onespot", then press "Add" to add that bank account to your app. Once that's complete, make sure to fully close and reopen your school's mobile app.
Important: Make sure to press the "Add" button on the screen that says "Update payment method", otherwise your payment method won't be saved.
And finally, when you open your mobile app again, you'll see your linked payment profile within your Billing & Payments screen.
Your payment profile is now active and securely saved in the app!
