How to Set Up Monthly Subscriptions Due on the 1st of the Month
This guide explains how to configure subscriptions so that payments are always due on the 1st of the month.
Step 1: Access Subscription
In your Administrative Superpowers ⚡, go to the Billing - manage invoices and subscriptions.

Note: If a recurring product has not yet been set up, complete this first by following the guide: Adding Recurring Products or Services to Your App
Step 2: Manage Invoices and Subscriptions
- Choose the student profile for whom you want to set up the subscription (e.g., Ethan).
- In Create Invoice section, select 'Add Item' and choose the subscription you want to set on a specific date.

Step 3: Set Collection Method
- Scroll down to Collection Method.
- Ensure it is set to 'Send Invoice' for the customer to pay later.
- Assign Invoice payment due '6' days after invoice is sent.

Step 4: Configure Subscription Settings
- Go to Subscription Settings.
- Set the billing to start on a specific date (e.g., September 25th), and set the end date to ongoing to ensure it is recurring every nth of the month

⚠️ Note on Variants: When setting the subscription start date to the 25th and the invoice due date to 6 days later, payments will usually fall on the 1st of the month. However, depending on the month and calendar year, there may be slight discrepancies (for example, February or months with fewer days). Always double-check dates to ensure billing aligns with the 1st as intended.
Step 5: Finalize the Subscription
After configuring all settings, click 'Bill Someone' to finalize the subscription.
