How to Send Invoices to Parents Without Transparent Accounts

You can invoice parents or app members directly in the app, even if they haven’t set up a Transparent Classroom account. This is helpful for billing new families, one-time charges, or handling payments outside your normal tuition process.

Whether it's for registration fees, supply costs, or ad hoc payments, invoicing through the app is quick and simple.


👣 Step-by-Step Instructions


  1. Tap the ⚡ Lightning Bolt icon in the top-right corner of your app.
  2. Select "Bill Someone."
  3. Under App Member, search for the parent’s name and tap Continue.

  1. Add an item:
    • You can select from an existing product or
    • Tap “Add custom item” to manually enter a name and price.

  1. If applicable, apply a discount using the discount field.
  2. Tap Send Invoice.
  3. Tap Bill to confirm.
  4. You’ll see a banner at the top confirming the invoice was sent.

✅ Once sent, the parent will be notified and can pay directly in the app using their default payment method.
