What Happens After You Invoice a Parent or App Member?

Once an invoice is sent through the parent dashboard, they will automatically receive a notification and can easily complete their payment within the app.

Here’s exactly what happens:

✅ 1. The Parent Gets an In-App Notification

As soon as the invoice is sent, the parent will receive a notification inside the Onespot app that says:

"New Invoice. You have a new invoice. You can pay your invoice right from the app."

This appears at the top of their dashboard the next time they open the app.

✅ 2. The Invoice Appears in Their App

Parents can go to the Billing & Payments section of their app to view their invoice.

  • It will appear under the "Invoices Due" tab
  • They’ll see the amount due, date created, due date, and a Pay Now button

✅ 3. They Can Pay Using Any Saved Payment Method

When the parent taps "Pay Now", a pop-up will appear asking them to:

  • Confirm the payment amount
  • Click "Confirm Payment"
  • The payment will be processed using the default payment method saved on their account (e.g., card or bank account).
  • Once paid, it will move to the "Payment History" section for their records

✅ What Happens on the Admin Side

When you invoice a parent or App Member:

  • The invoice will appear in your Billing & Invoices tab under Outstanding Payments.

  • Once the parent completes the payment, you'll receive a notification confirming "Invoice Paid".
  • That invoice will automatically move to the Payment History section and be marked as Paid.
  • In Payment History, you can:
    • View all completed payments
    • Export the data as a CSV file for accounting or reporting purposes.

This helps you track all billing activity in one place without needing to manually update anything.

  • You can also see all payments from your Settings and Dashboard for easy access and tracking across the platform.
