How to Create a Payment Link in Onespot (Application Fee, Registration, and More)
This guide shows you how to create a payment link in Onespot that families can use for any enrollment-related fee (such as an application fee, registration fee, or materials fee).
You’ll do this by creating a product and adding it to a screen, which generates a shareable payment URL. You can repeat these same steps anytime you need to create additional payment links.
For Admin Awareness (Important)
Since these are self-checkout items, service fees are handled by the school and are not passed on to families.
Keep this in mind when setting your pricing, especially if you want to account for processing fees.
Step 1: Create your product
- Go to Admin Superpowers (⚡) → Products & Services
- Scroll down then click + Add Another
- Enter your details
Sample setup (Application Fee example):
- Title: Application Fee
- Price: $50 (or your set fee)
- Description: This fee covers the processing of your child's application.
- Save
Step 2: Create a screen and generate your payment link
- Go to Admin Superpowers (⚡) → Content
- Click New Screen → Start from scratch
- Add a Title (ex: Application Fee or Pay Registration Fee)
- (Optional) Choose an icon
- Click Add Content
Add the product:
- Once inside the screen, click the (+) button in the bottom-left corner.
- Select Product
- Choose the product you created earlier
Finalize:
- (Optional) Click the eye icon to preview
- Click the checkmark (✓) to save
Step 3: Copy your Onespot Payment Link
- Open the screen you just created
- Copy the URL from that screen
This URL is your Onespot Payment Link, which you can use on your website, emails, or inside your app.
Note:
If you plan to share this payment link with families who are not yet members of your app, you may need to enable public access to your screen.
