Set Your Default Payment Method (ACH Or Credit Card)

This guide walks parents through how to set ACH (bank transfer) or a credit card as their default payment method. Once set, all future payments will automatically use this method unless you choose otherwise at checkout.

Step 1: Open Your Payment Profile

  • Log into the app as a parent.
  • In the top-right corner, click the dollar icon.
  • Youโ€™ll land on your Payment Profile.
  • Click Manage Payment Profile.

Step 2: View Your Current Default Payment Method

  • At the top of your payment methods list, youโ€™ll see which method is currently marked as Default.
  • This could be a credit card or ACH/bank account, depending on what youโ€™ve previously selected.

Step 3: Change the Default Payment Method (If Already on File)

If you already have multiple payment methods saved:

  • Find the payment method you want to use as your default.
  • Click the three dots (โ‹ฏ) next to that payment method.
  • Select Make Default.

โœ… Thatโ€™s it โ€” your selection is now the default payment method.

All future payments will automatically use this method unless you manually choose a different one during checkout.

Step 4: Add a New Payment Method and Set It as Default

If the payment method you want isnโ€™t on file yet:

  • Under Payment Methods, click + Add Payment Method.
  • Enter the required details (for example: card number, expiration date, security code, and country)
  • Before clicking Add, check Use as default payment method.
  • Click Add to save.

Step 5: Confirm Your Default Payment Method

  • After adding or updating, return to your Payment Profile.
  • You should now see the new method labeled as Default.

Youโ€™re all set! ๐ŸŽ‰

Helpful Notes

  • You can change your default payment method anytime.
  • Setting a default helps avoid missed or delayed payments.
  • You can still choose a different payment method manually for oneโ€‘time payments if needed.
