How to Remove a Member

Admins can remove a parent, staff member, or any user from the Onespot app at any time. This guide explains how removal works, including what happens when a parent is marked inactive in Transparent Classroom.

Option 1 — Permanently Remove a Member From Onespot

Follow these steps if you want to delete the user’s account fully:

  1. Go to ⚡ Administrative Superpowers
  2. Select All Members
  3. Search for or select the member
  4. Open their profile
  5. Scroll down and tap Delete Member

⚠️ Important Notes

  • This action is permanent
  • Their account is deleted from the database
  • Next time they open your app, they will be automatically logged out

Option 2 — Keep the Member, but Limit Their Access

If you don’t want to delete the account, you can restrict what they can see:

  1. Go to ⚡ Administrative Superpowers
  2. Select All Members
  3. Open the member’s profile
  4. Change their Account Type from ParentVisitor

What this does

  • The user keeps their login
  • They lose access to parent-only screens
  • They can only view content available to Visitors

❓ Question

If a parent is marked inactive or removed in Transparent Classroom (TC), are they automatically removed from the Onespot app?

💡 Answer

No. Removing or marking a member inactive in Transparent Classroom (TC) does not remove their account from the Onespot app. Their Onespot account stays active until you update or remove them directly inside Onespot.
