How to Buy Phone Credits (for Calls & Texts)
Note: Your school starts with a set of free phone credits for texting and calling. These credits are typically enough for normal communication. Purchasing additional credits is only necessary if your school uses texting or calling more frequently than usual. Push notifications, however, remain free and unlimited.
This guide explains how to purchase additional phone credits used for sending texts or making calls through your school app.
Step 1: Go to Communication Settings
- In your Administrative Superpowers ⚡, scroll down to Communication.
- Select Texting & Calling.
Step 2: Choose “Get More Phone Credits”
- Scroll down and click Get More Phone Credits to open the purchase screen.
- Phone credits are charged at $0.10 per credit.
- Select the number of credits you wish to buy (for example, 1,000 credits).
- This amount can be used for both texts and calls.
Step 3: Complete Purchase in Stripe
- After choosing the number of credits, a Stripe checkout window will open.
- Review your total and enter your payment details.
- Confirm your purchase to finalize the transaction.
Step 4: Verify Your Balance
Once payment is complete, your new credits will automatically appear in your app’s Texting & Calling balance.

- Each credit costs $0.10 and can be used for either a text message or a phone call.
- You can purchase credits anytime as needed.
- Credits are non-refundable but do not expire within the same school year.
