How to Sort the Billing Table by First or Last Name
Can I sort the Billing table by last name instead of first name?
Yes. The Account column in your school-wide Billing table can be sorted by first name or last name, in either direction.
📍 Where to find the Billing table
- Tap the ⚡ Lightning Bolt to open Administrative Superpowers.
- Go to Onespot Payments.
- Select Billing – payments, invoices, subscriptions.

How to sort by first or last name
- Click anywhere on the Account column header. A small menu opens below it with four options:
- First name (A–Z)
- First name (Z–A)
- Last name (A–Z)
- Last name (Z–A)
- Tap the option you want. The table re-sorts immediately, and the menu closes, with a checkmark next to whichever option is currently active.
- Tapping anywhere outside the menu closes it without changing the sort.
While Account is your active sort, a small label ("First name" or "Last name") appears next to the sort arrow in the header, so you can tell at a glance which one is applied.
❓ Good to know
- Names in each row still display as "First Last" no matter which sort you pick — sorting by last name only changes the order of rows, not how a name is written out.
- Like the Billing table's other column sorts, this choice isn't saved. It resets to First name (A–Z) each time you leave and come back to the page.
